The long wait is over! The iconic North Orbit is now available with the extreme high-performance ALUULA® material. The North Orbit Ultra Aluula kite is making its entry into the kite market and is ready to shatter all big air records! This is the new competition big air kite for riders in the GKA and RedBull King of the Air like Cohan van Dijk. The extra height and faster kiteloops provided by the Orbit Ultra give you enough time for board-offs, rotations, and maybe more. If you want the fastest and highest-performing Orbit ever, then the Orbit Ultra is the kite for you!

A step up in kite performance, and sitting at the top of the Orbit tree, the Orbit Ultra offers an extra boost in performance when compared to the Iconic Orbit and Orbit Pro. This is the big air kite for the rider looking to extract every bit of performance from a kite to push the limits of height and kite loops. Optimising the aerodynamics and stripping weight from the Orbit Ultra allows it to fly quickly not only in the turn but through the wind window allowing the kite to return above you for the ‘catch’ effortlessly after every loop, whether it be a single, double, or triple!

The use of Aluula® triggers a chain reaction of performance upgrades in the North Orbit Ultra. Aluula is 68% lighter than N-max2 and 15 times stronger than regular Dacron. This makes the Orbit Ultra very lightweight. The struts and leading edge are also reduced in diameter for better aerodynamics and faster flying through the wind window. This performance boost is enormous and exactly what big air riders want. The leading edge is supported by a 5-point, ‘competition ready’ bridle setup, making the North Orbit Ultra super stable in the air under all conditions. With the new Orbit Ultra, a new kite canopy is introduced within the North kite line-up. The North Orbit Ultra uses 3×3 ripstop, creating a more direct kite feeling.

North has fully optimized the sizing of the Orbit Ultra for big air performance. Sizes from 9 meters do not decrease in a bulky 1m² increment but are scaled down by 10% each time. This makes the different sizes better proportioned to each other.
